Environmental Education Workshops

By bringing teachers from 10 schools in your area, we can provide hands-on teacher workshops. The workshops can be held at a local school's computer lab or at AMERICAN FORESTS' headquarters in Washington, DC.

Teachers are guided through a structured agenda that included tree identification, GIS and CITYgreen analysis using step-by-step lesson plans.

Led by two trained instructors, the workshops are typically a day long. Each teacher receives all the necessary matereials to use this program with their students. Follow up support is provided by toll-free technical support and email.
